Worthless Transparency International Reports on corruption

Those reports are really worthless. They are based on public opinion polls (and those polls are contracted to different firms in every country--and in Lebanon it was conducted by Statistics Lebanon which has no credibility in polls whatsoever).  Furthermore, when you judge corruption on the basis of public opinion polls, certainly the more open countries like Lebanon will score higher on corruption index than closed societies like Oman or Saudi Arabia, where people are afraid to express their perceptions freely.  Also, the last report excluded Gulf regimes.  Did they fund the study, I wonder?
